More people die in the UK every year from Healthcare Acquired Infections than murder, suicide and road accidents combined.  This course will assist the candidate in reducing the risk of infection during their day to day tasks.

At the End of this course the student will have:

  • Identified the common causes of infection
  • Explained how infections can be spread
  • Explained how the body resists and fights infection

And should be able to:

  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Maintain a high standard of personal health and hygiene
