The Equality Act 2010 replaced and reinforced nine key pieces of equality legislation, drawing them all into one common Act.

It provides a basic framework of protection against all forms of discrimination, bullying, harrassment and victimisation.  One of the key areas included in this new Act is the inclusion of discrimination by association (indirect discrimination) to disability.

This course provides an overview of the Act as well as practical examples of discrimination, providing a delegate with a rounded knowledge of their roles and responsibilities.
